The “Light Symphony – Welcome to 2025” concert in Tay Ho District, West Lake, is an artistic event blending modern light technology and traditional music. The program is scheduled to take place at 8:00 PM on January 18 at the intersection of Nguyen Hoang Ton and Lac Long Quan Streets (Tay Ho District, Hanoi). The event is open to the public, offering a vibrant artistic space to celebrate the Lunar New Year.
A highlight of the program is a spectacular light performance featuring 2,025 drones accompanied by a symphony orchestra. This marks the first large-scale use of drone light technology, showcasing a new-generation dragon drone display, promising a breathtaking visual experience over Hanoi’s night sky.
Meanwhile, the “Vietnamese Tet – Tet in the Old Quarter 2025” program will be held on January 19, starting at the Old Quarter Cultural Exchange Center (50 Dao Duy Tu Street). The event will feature a ceremonial procession through the streets and historical sites of the Old Quarter, concluding at Kim Ngan Temple (42 Hang Bac Street). Following the procession, a ceremony to honor the village tutelary god will take place, along with the raising of the traditional Tet bamboo pole (Cây Nêu) and an introduction to its cultural and historical significance during the Lunar New Year.
The 2025 Dong Da District Spring Flower Festival will be held at the Nga Tu So Market area (Dong Da District, Hanoi).
