According to historical records, the Uoc Le ham making profession dates back to the Mac Dynasty (1527-1592). A royal concubine from Uoc Le village returned to her hometown to build the village gate and teach the villagers how to make ham. Until now, the Uoc Le village gate still exists as a testament to the time and the mark of the craft village through the ups and downs of time.

From the roots of pork roll and cinnamon sausage, Uoc Le people have created many different types of gio lua and cha lua with hometown flavors such as: beef gio lua, fried cha lua, pork skin cha lua, cinnamon cha lua,… to eat with chung cakr and giay cake. All types of sausages and sausages are delicious and are popular in the Vietnamese market. Many international tourists who come to Vietnam also love this dish.
